On Shakespeare
"We thrill at these plays now. But what must it have been like when they were brand new, when all their references were timely and sharply apt, and all the words never before heard?
Imagine what it must have been like to watch Macbeth without knowing the outcome, to be part of a hushed audience hearing Hamlet’s soliloquy for the first time, to witness Shakespeare speaking his own lines. There cannot have been, anywhere in history, many more favored places than this."
- Bill Bryson
Personal Projects
For graduate school, I created a knowledge sharing wiki called English Central. Information on my efforts are collected on my portfolio.
I worked for Smart Alec GPS Tours one summer writing tour guide content. Ask me about Jewel Cave - I probably know.
I also helped a friend of my wife's by revising and editing the content for her dance school's website. (And my wife took a few pictures - those are my eldest's feet on the front.)
