A checklist for the writing of your research paper:

Have you:

□ Attempted a clear attention grabber in your introduction?

□ Written a clear thesis and made it the last sentence in your introduction?

□ Included a topic sentence as the first sentence of each supporting paragraph?

□ Included author page citations every time you used information from one of your sources?

□ Written a conclusion and ended the paper with a thought to ponder?

□ Had someone else read your paper to make sure it contains no spelling or grammar mistakes?
□ Included the works cited page as the last page of the paper?

□ Organized the paper according to your outline?

□ Formatted it correctly?

Double-spaced it? Made the font 12pt.?
Made sure you don’t have extra spaces between paragraphs?
Put your name and the page number in right side of the heading on every page but the first
Included a proper heading with the following information: your name, class/period, teacher’s name, the date
Included a title, centered and beneath the heading
